Colter is the yin to Emily’s yang—the two of them create marketing and communications campaigns with creative zest, thoughtful flair, and innovative genius. Born and raised in the heart of tech, aka Northern California, Colter started his entrepreneur career like many—in his parents’ garage. At the age of 17, he started his first screen-printing and clothing brand business, Spindustry, where he met his previous business partner, Olan Rogers. Olan and Colter built an empire together with a soda shop (The Soda Parlor) and a clothing brand business (Star Cadet). As Olan’s TV career took off, he and Colter amicably parted ways and Colter began his media firm, Future Media, which focuses solely on websites and web development.
Colter’s love is in coding—he sees custom coding like custom printing in that it starts with an idea and the magic is getting the vision onto the site. Colter met RPR firm’s founder and CEO, Emily, in 2017, and they quickly became inseparable, building another empire (R Creative) and co-parenting a family in Nashville. For the past year, they have been traveling the country with their now five kids and building websites, public relations and marketing campaigns, and renovating an RV.
